Five Possible Game of Thrones Ending

Game of Thrones

The author of the book game of thrones is a genius no doubt, and he has an amazing gift of foreshadowing. Anne Groell is a wonderful woman who has been in charge of editing his books.

Anne said in 2014 that she had realised the author had a threefold revelation strategy; this strategy is one that she had seen a lot of times.

The first part of the plan is to leave a subtle hint for the really focused readers, then follow it up later by dropping a more blatant hint for the less attentive readers, and finally spell it out for everyone to easily understand.

If the information Anne has given us is anything to go by then we can easily say that the author has already given us quite some signs as to what the ending of this beautiful series would be like.

As you read further we will be looking at all the possible endings for the game of Thrones based on the clues that we have been given so far.

1. The ‘wizard of oz’ ending

The Wizard of Oz ending is one of the most popular theories that we can come up with. What this theory would mean is that bran was still in a coma all along and he had only been dreaming about everything that has happened so far.

Bran is incorporating all of the characters featured in the series into the stories that he was told by that old Nan. The reason why this may be very possible is that a lot has already been foreshadowed by old Nan; seems like the ice dragon and the night king.

However, as interesting as it is also very unlikely that he would choose that everything was a dream in the ending.

2. the Tyrion and Sansa ending

Another possible ending for the game of thrones is that Tyrone and Sansa together will rule Westeros.

I understand that this may sound very odd, but there are so many signs that have foreshadowed this happening. Why this is possible is that when Sansa was talked about, it was said that “she was a stark of Winterfell a noble lady and someday she would be queen.”

If you can also clearly remember the first time, Tyrion Lannister appeared in the book it was said that: ” when you open the door the light from within during his shadow clear across the yard and for just a moment tyrion lannister stood tall as a king.”

3. The ‘bran’ ending

It would be a very interesting option for an ending if everything that has happened so far in the book were all planned by bran.

Some of the major things being obviously an influence on the mad king, being the night king and making the wall, all of this has strong supporting evidence in the books.

So far a lot of people would doubt that this is a possible ending because the movie has not shown any sign of foreshadowing for this however the book foreshadows this as a possible ending, so we just have to cross our fingers and see what happens.

While you wait, remember this from the book ” thousands and thousands of years ago Brandon the builder had raised Winterfell, and some said the world brand-new the story, but it had never been his favourite.

Maybe one of the other Brandon’s may have liked that story. Sometimes Nan would talk to him as if he were her Brandon, the baby she had lost all those many years ago and sometimes she confused him with his uncle Brandon, who was killed by the mad king before Bran was even born.

she had lived so long; mother had told him once that all the Brandon stacks had become one person in her head.”

4. The ‘LOTR’ ending

Many people believe there are so many similarities between the lord of the rings and game of thrones and some of these people are even of the opinion that both stories share the same world. George Martin is a crazy fan of LOTR, and a lot of us can already notice the influence.

Do you know which series this quote is from “over the land there lies a long shadow, Westworld-reaching wings of darkness” the tower trembles to the tomb of the king’s doom approach?

The Dead awaken; for the hour comes for the oathbreakers: at the Stone of Erech, they shall stand again and hear there a horn in the hills ringing. Whose shall the horn be?

Who shall call them from the grey twilight, the forgotten people? The heir of him to whom the oath they swore. From the north shall he come to need shall drive him he shall pass the door to the path of the dead”.

No doubt this is a very hard guest for you, but the quote is actually from ‘LOTR’. However, it could definitely pass for both. Could it be that the dead starks will resurrect?

5. the “prince that was promised” ending

The final theory that will be discussing is that of the prince that was promised. This may seem like a self-explanatory one but what if it isn’t as obvious as we think it is.

There is a chance that this may mean a prince that had actually made a promise remember when ned stark promised his sister Ayanna that he will take care of her child?

These are the five possible endings for your loved game of thrones. However, there is also a chance that none of these suspected endings will be the actual one, so all we can do is sit back relax and let things unfold.

We hope that you enjoyed this and we are very interested in what your suggestions and opinions are. Do you think that any of these five possible endings would happen or do you have a completely different suspicion?
