Apple iPhone 6s with 3D force touch Official!
Apple’s follow up to last year’s flagship is official. The iPhone 6s came off in Apple’s event held yesterday at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. The device was unveiled by CEO Tim Cook, and features quite a few improvements in the internals, but still retained last year’s flagship look and feel and it’s 4.7″ display.
The improvements in the new Apple iPhone 6s are no doubt noticeable, one of such is the 3D force touch the new flagship features. Apple iPhone 6s force 3D force touch features is an interesting one, as the iPhone will trigger different actions depending on how long you hold the device. For example, if you tap lightly on an email, the device will show you a preview of that email. Tap deeper and the mail will be opened.
The retina 3D force touch also provides distinct and tactile feedback to presses and taps made on the device. Under the display, there’s a vibrating “Taptic engine”, which is similar to the one found on the Macbook trackpad and on the Apple Watch.
Badass all new 12MP iSight camera
Talking about improvements and revamping, the new 12MP iSight camera fixed in the iPhone 6s is something else. The new shooter features a massive pixel improvement up to 50% more, as well as 50% more focus pixels.
Not done yet, the iSight 12MP shoots 4K videos now. The rear of the device is fitted with a 5MP camera which can increase brightness of pics up to 3x via a special chip inside the iPhone 6s to get you that perfect selfie.
There’s also a new feature dubbed “Live Photos”, which is basically a short video of things that happened before and after taking a picture. You can choose to send the ‘Live Photos’ to other iPhones and even set them as a wallpaper – movement and all or you can simply delete them. If you don’t fancy the feature, there’s an option to disable it too.
With the new “desktop class” A9 chip fixed in the iPhone 6s, there’s really no comparison with the previous flagship. The A9 chip is 70% faster in CPU performance and 90% faster in GPU performance than last year’s iPhone 6. Also, it integrates the M9 co processor that helps the device run faster.
