Ariana Grande Was Not Correct About Crohn’s Disease Causing Butthole Eye

Ariana Grande is so in love at the moment, and she has shown that she is ready to send a flood to drown out the haters who try to attack the man she’s in love with. While that’s an adorable thing to do, the singer might have to do some research on medical issues if she has to post anything health related.

After Barstool sport tweeted an article titled “Does Pete Davidson Have Butthole Eyes?” on Thursday, Ariana got in a bad mood and slammed them for trying to make her sweetheart feel bad.

The singer responded to the tweet “Y’all do know this man has an autoimmune disease …… right? ….. like you do understand what you’re doing when u do this right? just wanna make sure.”

Ariana was emotional because Davidson was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease as a teenager and she felt was improper for Barstool Sport to post such a thing about him.

However, the singer’s intention was good, but she was wrong about what the Barstool Sports post meant. According to a renowned gastroenterologist in New York called Dr. Albert Knapp, Crohn’s disease is not a cause for sunken eyes. And sunken eyes is what people now refer to as butthole eyes.

Dr. Albert told page six on Friday that The reason they’re sunken is that people with Crohn’s disease can sometimes become dehydrated, But when you rehydrate, they return to normal. Crohn’s disease does not directly cause eyes that look sunken in.” He added that “There’s no direct correlation between Crohn’s disease and sunken eyes.”

You may be wondering what Crohn’s disease is. Well, Crohn is a chronic inflammatory disease of the intestines, especially of the ileum and the colon. Crohn’s disease is associated with ulcer and fistulae. Because the medical condition is a chronic one, patients have periods where it flares up and causes symptoms that are uncomfortable followed by periods where it is repressed, and patients feel normal.

There are many other causes of dark circles around the eye, and almost anybody can have dark circles. Most times it could be as a result of stress and fatigue or even pigmentation.
Davidson may have had dark circles around his eyes as a result of dehydration, but his medical condition has no links to the way he looked on that day.
