Ben Affleck Checks Back Into Rehab After Break Up With Linsay Shookus

Ben Affleck is one actor that has had too many stories attached to his name. This time, he had to check back into rehab with the help of the mother of his kids.

Information reaching E! News is that Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck’s about-to-be ex-wife, was seen driving him to rehab just a few days after his relationship with Lindsey Shookus ended. The actress showed up at Ben Affleck’s home in the Pacific Palisades with her bodyguard on Wednesday to help the father of her three kids get help. An insider claimed paparazzi was already at the actor’s residence trying to take pictures and ask questions, but the mother of three told them it “wasn’t a good time and to please leave the house,”  before she helped Ben into the vehicle with her bodyguard and drove off.

An insider shared with E! News that Ben had been drinking a lot since Monday and he knew that he needed to get some help. The insider said “He told Jen and was not resistant. He asked her to take him, and she wanted to be there for him.”

Since the Batman actor reported to have completed rehab in March 2017, he has done well to stay away from drinking. He meant to keep clean so much that he sought outpatient treatment after rehab to show his commitment. However, much recently the actor seemed to be stumbling as a result of his breakup with the Saturday night live producer, Lindsay Shookus and his recent unstable affair with Playboy model Sexton Shauna.

The actor shared via his Facebook account in March 2017 that, “I have completed treatment for alcohol addiction; something I’ve dealt with in the past and will continue to confront. I want to live life to the fullest and be the best father I can be. I want my kids to know there is no shame in getting help when you need it, and to be a source of strength for anyone out there who needs help but is afraid to take the first step.”

This is not the first time the mother of his three kids Samuel, Serafina, and Violet, have stood by him in a time need. In the same march 2017 Facebook post, Ben added “I’m lucky to have the love of my family and friends, including my co-parent, Jen, who has supported me and cared for our kids as I’ve done the work I set out to do. This was the first of many steps being taken towards a positive recovery.”

If you are wondering why Jennifer Garner has chosen to support the father of her children even though things didn’t work out well between them, and an insider revealed to E! News that  “She wants to see him healthy and at his best. She knows that’s what’s best for the kids and the family.”

Ben Affleck is lucky to have such a kind-hearted human as the mother of his children. And we hope he recovers fast and stays away from drinking finally after this rehab session is over.
