Chris Brown Detained Over Rape Allegations in Paris

Popular music star Chris Brown is currently in police custody.

It was confirmed to NBC news by a judicial source that is close to the investigation that the artist has been detained by police in Paris, and has also been accused of drug offenses and aggravated rape.

On Tuesday the 22nd of January 2019, CBS News also reported that the 29-year-old Grammy award winner is still in police custody.

Citing two police officials that remain anonymous, the associated press ( NBC news) reported that Chris Brown was arrested on Monday the 21st of January.

Per the available report, a woman has accused the singer of raping her in a hotel room last week. A source also told NBC News that two other people are currently in police custody and under investigation.

On Thursday Chris brown was photographed in Paris ahead of the Paris fashion week. And even though it was unknown what his intentions were in the city, he shared a photograph of himself during rehearsals on social media.

This occurrence is nothing new to fans and followers of the music star as he already has a history of problems with the law including the one that occurred in 2009 where he pleaded guilty to a felony assault case involving his then-girlfriend Rihanna.

We also recall that in 2017 his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran was granted a permanent restraining order against the artist after she accused him of threatening her life and getting physically abusive with her, Chris Brown referred to all those accusations as bullshit on social media at the time.

The father of one and several others was also sued in May 2018 by an anonymous woman for battery, assault, alleged negligence, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The lady claimed that she had been sexually abused in Chris brown’s house.

At the time, Chris Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos told TMZ “The fact that they made a demand for $17 million and I told them to go pound sand probably explains why they did the press conference today. Chris didn’t do anything, and they know Chris didn’t do anything other than using his name so she can have a press conference, I don’t understand why he’s dragged into anything.”
