How to unlock Nexus 10 Bootloader

Nexus device provides easy access to the device hardware for which it is popular amongst people. The stock software is great but sometimes you might like to go with your own creations. Nexus device has locked bootloader and the unlocking system is same as other Nexus phones and tablets. Unlocking the Nexus 10 bootloader is not easy but not for everyone. Power off your Nexus 10, reboot into Fastboot mode by hiding the volume up button, volume down button and power button. You will see the green robot on the screen and the word start at the top of the screen. Then plug your tablet into a full speed primary USB port on your computer and you will see the pop up about the drivers are being installed and initialized or not. Open the terminal or command prompt on your computer. Then you have to navigate to the folder in which the fastboot program has placed in. Advance users can simply place the fastboot program somewhere in their path.

Type all the command lines in your fastboot devices. You should get your device ID returned and it lets you know that you can fastboot your Nexus 10 device. Investigate if you do not see it there Windows does not support sometimes to set up your fastboot driver. Mac and Linux users do not have any problem but you have to run fastboot depending on your system which creates confusion. You can’t g further without the device ID.
