The details of the would be Elite x3 according to the GFXBench marking listing which made headlines in December of 2015 indicate that the device will be working on Qualcomm’s 820 SoC processor, feature a phablet sized 5.8″ with 2560 x1440 resolution.
The specifications of the device indicate a roundly powerful device, but there’s one odd addition according the the benchmark listing. The RAM was indicated to be just 1GB, which isn’t anyway convincing, especially with the internal memory listed as 64GB. The listing also suggests the Windows phone will pack a hefty camera sets of 20MP and 12MP on the rear and front respectively, which is actually very impressive on paper, hopefully it would retain such prowess in due time.
The unveil date of the HP Elite X3 is yet unknown, but sources cite MWC 2016 as the expected announcement date for the next HP windows phone outing. Here’s to hoping the high-end Windows phone by long time tech player and absentee mobile manufacturer HP, does become reality at the Barcelona venue in the coming days.
