Danny Boyle is a household name when it comes to James Bond movies but it seems like the iconic director will not be part of the 25th Bond movie after he clashed with directors over the movie’s conclusion.
Seduced by the prospects of bringing in a new Bond, one that appeals to this generation, Danny Boyle, 62 insists that 007 should die in the arms of returning Bond girl Lea Seydoux in the upcoming Shatterhand.
A source in Los Angeles told Dailystar: “Boyle thought that killing 007 would be a brilliant way to pave the way for introducing a new Bond. “But when the dust settled there was push back from Barbara and Daniel. The feeling was that the audience should be left guessing as to the plight of their man.”
True Detective’s Cary Fukunaga will direct the film and it is due for release in 2020. Other stars confirmed for the movie are Naomi Harris as Eve Money penny and Ralph Fiennes as M. Bohemian Rhapsody’s lead actor and Oscar winner Rami Malek is set to be announced as the villain in the film.
This will be Daniel Craig’s fifth and last outing as James Bond and he wishes to flaunt his greying hair as a sign of being weary. Daniel whose first 007 film is Casino Royale in 2006 has grossed over £3 billion across 4 Bond movies. Filming of Shatterhand is set to start this month
