Kendall Jenner and Ben Simmons are taking a break from loving each other so soon? It seems to be on to the next one for supermodel Kendall Jenner, as her relationship with NBA star Ben Simmons has hit the breaks.
Rumours about a romantic relationship between Ben and Kendall first broke out three months ago, and we were hoping that the relationship would last a little longer than three months. A close source told E! News that Ben Simmons and Kendall Jenner still communicate with each other via texts but the 22-year-old keeping up with the Kardashian star has been spending more time with other people.
Just a few weeks ago the duo, alongside Kendall’s elder sister Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson took s trip to Mexico for some fun time together. The two sisters and their boyfriends stayed at the Joe Francis’ Punta Mita villa. And while they were enjoying their short getaway, a source shared with E! News that Khloe and her baby sister Kendall “seemed to enjoy that they can mix their boyfriends and friends together so well.”
So, why would Kendall and Ben call it quits so soon? It’s just been 90days. It appears that Kendall isn’t ready for anything too serious at the moment as she never considered herself thoroughly committed to Ben Simmons while they were dating.
According to a source “She always wanted to keep her options open. She likes Ben, but she knew it was more of a summer fling. They both have busy careers, and it is what it is. Kendall isn’t looking for anything serious. She had fun with Ben, but wasn’t ever fully committed or looking for a long-term, exclusive relationship.”
The model’s previous relationship with Blake Griffen ended after six months because even though she loved Blake, she couldn’t deal with the issue of distance. “There was nothing that caused this specifically, and they will always be friends,” the source shared. “She has a lot on her plate and isn’t really looking for a serious relationship.”
The only thing that matters to Kendall Jenner right now is making her way back to the runway. The model had taken a break from work for a while so she could pay more attention to get mental health. According to the 22-year-old in an interview with love magazine, she said “I was on the verge of a mental breakdown,” and she needed to take time off.
As the New York Fashion Week for spring/summer 2019 starts in a few days, the fashion industry is eager to have Kendall walk the runway again.
