Ever heard of a bar windows phone? We’re guessing your answer is a big fat NO, but that’s about to change as ‘straight outta China’ an OEM known as KEYEVER AO is about to launch its first Bar Windows 10 smartphone which is all shades of odd, but impressive nonetheless.
The coming smartphone from images shown off flaunts a traditional candy-bar shape most notably seen in feature phones. The device which features a petite 3.5-inch AMOLED display unit with qHD resolution (540x960px) also adds the normal touch screen functionality seen in modern day smartphones.
The device is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 600 series CPU which we hear is a Hexa-Core processor.
The keyboard being the main reason for the interest in Keyever’s new device remain undecided as the engineers are said to be undecided according to an unnamed source. It seems as though while the phone in the renders sports a numeric keypad, a full QWERTY option is being considered as well.
The cameras are also another undecided element as in in the renders. Other features of the device are still being kept secret as well. However, availability is pegged at Q3 of 2016 with Keyever putting it’s final touches with hopes of launching later this year at a price we hear should be just about 155USD for international markets when converted from the Chinese equivalent of CNY 1000.
Taking a sneak peek at the expected specifications;
- Hexa-Core Processor
- Windows 10 Mobile
- 3.5-inch qHD AMOLED display
- 314 PPI Pixel Density
