Mary-kate Olsen and Her Sister Ashley Olsen Compare Their Relationship to Marriage

Celebrity fashion designers Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen can easily pass for the most hardworking and inseparable twin ladies in the fashion industry. The duo has recently compared their already special relationship to marriage.

The twin girls have been in the spotlight since they were kids, and they have worked together to build a unique and unstoppable fashion empire. The love and trust between the sisters are undoubtedly genuine.

However, the duo recently thought it right to give us an insight into what makes them work together effortlessly and achieve so much. In an interview with WSJ. Magazine, the fashion designers shared their secret. Ashley said”It’s been 32 years of learning how to communicate” Ashley also said their relationship is “a marriage and a partnership. We have had ups and downs. We do everything together.”

The other twin Mary-Kate added that “We came out of the womb doing that.”
Ashley went further to say. “We’re not product pushers; I don’t know if it’s because of the way we grew up—we just don’t like talking about ourselves or talking about what we’re doing…It’s not really our approach.”

The ladies are excited to talk about their new men’s wear collection for the Row. The original intention for the menswear collection was to create something classy for the husbands of the Row’s female shoppers. And ever since they started producing the wears since 2016, the twin designers have done everything possible to see that they improve their collection.

“We spent a year really figuring out the fit of the suit,” Ashley said. Mary-Kate included, “Single-breasted, double-breasted, tuxedo.”

The sisters are pleased but surprised about how much they have achieved and how far their brand has gone in such a short time. According to the twins, Ashley and Mary-Kate, they started as a passion project, but now they have grown into a famous brand with lots of critics and customers.

Ashley shared that “We never started the company with the intention of it being a fashion brand,” And Mary-Kate added, “It’s not like one day we wake up and say, we’re going to grow this business, and we’re going to have a menswear collection, that’s not the way we look at it.” This is not just girl power, but twin power at play.
