Michael Buble Opens Up About His Son’s Cancer Diagnosis

No parent can stand the thought of watching their young going through pain. Michael Buble has had to live with the knowledge that his eldest kid has cancer. But he has finally decided to open up about how knowing his child’s medical condition changed his life forever.

The Grammy winner and Luisana Lopilato, his wife, shared with fans two years ago that their first child who was 3years old at the time was battling with cancer.

The pair wrote on Luisana’s facebook that  “We are devastated by the recent cancer diagnosis of our eldest son Noah who is currently in treatment in the United States. We’ve always talked a lot about the importance of the family and the love we have for our children. Luisana and I are going to spend all our time and attention to help Noah to get better, by suspending our professional activities for now.”

However, in 2017, Luisana shared the good news that her son was well “Thank God, my son is now well. When things like those that happened to us occur, your take on life changes,” The mother of three stated. “It happened to us. Now I value life much more, the now and the today. I would like to thank people for their support, for the prayers they said, for their love, and I want them to know that they reached us and that it helped us a lot to come through this.”

Michael who has since returned back to the stage has recently opened up about his son’s diagnosis during a talk at Australia today’s show. According to the singer,  “It sucked and it still sucks because what we went through was the worst possible thing that you could hear as a parent and maybe as a human being. I much rather would have it been me. I wished, many times I wished it had been. “There were a million times that my wife and I were just, surviving, struggling to survive and to breathe and more times than people could understand, some days when we wished we didn’t wake up,” The now father of three added. “When we did, we felt the love of those people, we knew they were praying for us, we knew there was goodness out there.”

Michael said as he struggled to fight back the tears that rushed from his eyes that the support his family got from fans and well-wishers during that trying time revived his faith in humanity.

The singer added that after his son’s diagnosis, she vowed to stay away from social media and never to watch or read his own interviews or articles written about him.

Michael and his wife recently welcomed their third child who they named Vida Amber Betty Buble.
