Motorola releases a new smartphone in the Moto X series every year, and this year’s edition is going to be called the Motorola Moto X4, according to popular leakster and tipster @evleaks. While there’s no official word on the device yet, we have an idea of the specifications of the upcoming smartphone, according to a leaked presentation video of the smartphone in China. These are discussed below.
Motorola Moto X4 Expected Specifications
The caption of the leaked presentation video says Unlimited Perfection, meaning we should be expecting something big from the Moto X4. The smartphone is to come with a 5.5-inch display most probably with a Full HD (1920 * 1080) pixel resolution. In terms of display, it has a 3D glass body with a glass finish on the front and metal finish on the back and sides.
The Moto X4 has an IP68 rating which certifies it as resistant to water and dust, so you can go taking underwater selfies with it. The all-new octa-core 2.2GHz Snapdragon 660 processor and Adreno 512 GPU will power the phone on a 4GB RAM, and you’ll have 64GB of internal memory to store files.
Dual cameras with a dual-tone LED flash were spotted at the rear of the Motorola Moto X4 in the video, and they will offer 4K video recording. The smartphone is expected to pack a 3800mAh battery with Turbo Charging.
Motorola always likes to be on the forefront of things, so we expect that the Motorola Moto X4 would run on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. Other specs include AI integration, Always-on voice and a LTE modem with support for 3x CA.
