Pete Davidson Fears His Wife to Be Will Dump Him Eventually

Pete Davidson is the luckiest man alive to have found love with Ariana Grande, but as they get ready to tie the Knot, the 24 years old Saturday night live star is worried his wife-to-be might leave him eventually. In Pete’s cover story of Variety’s Power of Young Hollywood issue, he shared some details about his love life with the “God is a woman” singer.

Pete recalled their first meeting in 2016 “I was obviously ogling and trying not to be creepy. We didn’t know another person could feel — or treat a person — like that” Just a few weeks into the relationship, Pete decided to pop the big question jokingly, but he wasn’t expecting to get a positive answer from the singer.  “I didn’t want to do something corny,”  Davidson shares about his proposal. “We were in bed hanging, after watching a movie. I was like, ‘Will you marry me?’ It was really dope.”

But Pete wasn’t sure Grande would want to be his wife. “I’m still convinced she’s blind or hit her head really hard,” he says. “Something is going to happen, and she’s going to be like, ‘What the f–k is this thing doing around?’ For right now, it’s rocking.”

The relationship between the Duo has received a lot of attention from both fans and the press since they became an item in may 2018, and Pete isn’t entirely comfortable with the kind of things he sees online.  Davidson has decided to take a break from social media for the sake of his sanity.

“The internet is evil, and I don’t like how it affects me,” Davidson tells Variety. “I don’t like how the internet is a place where anybody can s–t on you and make anything up. I’ve worked really hard to get my brain to this place. I can’t go online like everybody else because it’s just a f–k-fest. And now I get to enjoy my life.”

Talking further about his relationship with the singer, Pete said “I never thought I’d meet anyone like her. I can’t even put into words how great of a person she is. I could cry. She’s the f–king coolest, hottest, nicest person I’ve ever met.”

“I’m f–king living the goddamn dream,” he continued, sharing what a younger version of himself would think of his current life. “I feel like I’m living in a fantasyland.”

Pete is ready to enjoy the happiness while it lasts and we hope that it lasts a lifetime as the couple tie the knot soon.
