Prince Harry and Meghan to Spend Valentine’s Day Apart.

Cupid may have been responsible for Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle’s union but, there are some things cupid can’t control right?

The couple wouldn’t be spending February 14th together.

Prince Harry and Meghan

Kensington Palace posted on Twitter that the Duke of Sussex would have a very busy schedule on Valentines Day. Especially since he still holds the title as the Captain General of the Royal Marines.

Duty calls I suppose.

The Prince expected to visit Exercise Clockwork on Feb. 14. Although it isn’t likely to be all business since he’ll “celebrate the 50th anniversary of the operation in Bardufoss, Norway.”

The Kensington Palace wrote on Twitter, “Clockwork is the traditional name of the annual winter exercise, based in one of the world’s most demanding environments 200 miles inside the Arctic Circle, which has trained over 16,000 Royal Marines and Royal Navy sailors and airmen since 1969.”

As for Meghan the Duchess of Sussex? We are still unsure if she has plans for Valentine’s Day or not, but we know for sure her pregnancy is almost due.

We can understand why extra cautious are being taken, especially about travelling around as she used to since she is expected to be a mother in the spring.

E! News got a confirmation from Kensington Palace that the duchess’ public engagement would be at the National Theatre and the Association of Commonwealth Universities.

We are keeping our fingers crossed. However, we don’t know if the couple would be spending time together once the Prince gets back from Norway.

It’s like a de javu as Entertainment Tonight noted that last year’s V-day was equally spent apart because Prince Harry had an official event to attend. He did so without wife-to-be at the time before tying the knot in May.

The Prince met with his father, Prince Charles, at the 2018 International Year of the Reef in London.

The royal pair nonetheless, celebrates “Valentine’s Week” in 2018. They clearly celebrated late, but as they say, it’s better late than never. They had a good time by visiting Scotland, then saw Hamilton…

While there isn’t enough information about the royal pairs scheduled for Valentine’s week, we can be sure they have something planned to make it up.

This would be there first Valentine together as a married couple after all.
