It seems we should be anticipating another celebrity wedding. This time it is between the recently engaged couple Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra. This time, it seems the duo are ready to walk down the aisle and say their vows.
Nick and Priyanka might be having their wedding this autumn precisely in November. A Hollywood site has recently reported that the couple intends to tie the knot next month in Jodhpur India.
It was reported that the couple recently travelled down to India and even took a trip down to Jodhpur. According to the news, it was that that moment they decided the beautiful Umaid Bhawan would be their dream venue for the wedding.
A close source to the couple told Filmfare that the couple intended to have a limited guest list of only 200 people which comprises of just their close friends and family in attendance. However, all the events related to the wedding won’t be taking place only in Jodhpur or India as a whole
Since they have quite a large amount of friends in New York City, Priyanka intends to have her bridal shower right there in NYC while the grand finale of the wedding takes place in India. It is not so surprising that the couple decided to settle on having an Indian wedding.
In August, the couple had also settled on having a grand traditional engagement ceremony which is otherwise known in India as the Roka ceremony. This ceremony had their families attendance in Mumbai where the service took place.
According to the priest who performed the ceremony for the couple, he told reporters after the ceremony that a puja otherwise known as a prayer ritual was carried out on the couple for a happy and prosperous married life for the couple.
He continued by saying that after the Lord Ganesha’s Puja, the couple proceeded with the engagement ceremony. During the Puja prayer, all the family members were in attendance to witness the blessing of the marriage.
It was only after the ceremony that the couple confirmed their engagement. However, when HollywoodLife tried to reach the couple’s representative for comments, no response was yet to be given.
We wish the couple a happy married life in advance.
