The latest Android OS for mobile – Android 6.0 Marshmallow would begin seeding out to Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge variant devices. This is coming after a series of teases by the South Korean company about the coming of the latest OS to it’s flagship devices.
Samsung yesterday officially announced that it’s latest Galaxy S6 flagships would be getting global rollout of the Marshmallow 6.0 OS. This of course would mean users globally in every country of the world should start receiving the seeded updates soon if they haven’t already.
Of course, the seeded upgrades will become available gradually in batches, and it will depend on the market and carrier of the mobile user.
According to Samsung, with the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow update on the Samsung Galaxy S6, there’ll be a better enhanced TouchWiz interface as well as latest bugs and security fixes. The curved variant of the flagship, the Galaxy S6 edge will also benefit from it with new edge screen features accompanied in the seeded update.
Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge users are therefore asked to keep their eyes peeled for the update and update accordingly when it eventually arrives.
