Samsung Galaxy S7 Could Be Coming With Snapdragon 820 Via Leaked Doc
While we know Samsung is already prepping development of it’s next flagship device, Galaxy S7 which is rumoured to be code-named Jungfrau , a leaked doc depicting an internal conversion in the South Korean tech firm shows messages relating to the use of “MSM8996” which is the model number for the next-gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset.
Evidently, Qualcomm’s next-gen 820 chipset is being tested with the “Jungfrau” device, so, there’s a possibility of the device making it out with the chip, though Samsung has been known to lately use it’s in-house developed Exynos chipset. Time would definitely tell.
There’s also talks of adding the device to list of devices which would support Android M development, according to the images of the doc.
In other related events, Samsung would be unveiling it’s latest phablet(s) Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ in some days time, with the Note 5 slated for an August 13th release date.
