Tiwa Savage’s ex-husband has reacted to the suicide note famous artist Harrison Tare Okiri also known as Harry Songs made on social media.
The singer had posted on his Instagram a few days ago “Don’t cry (when) I die, celebrate, put up a kingmaker concert, empower more youths, I have lived. I have done my bit, carry on in grace… TEKERO I LOVE YOU ALL.#altersoldier.”
Fans have been worried and scared at the same time as nobody knows what must have pushed Harry songs to make such a post.
Tee Billz, however, had a few things to say to Harry in this time when his mental health is questionable. Tee Billz has been a victim of depression and was able to fight and win the battle to get back into normalcy with the help of friends and a shrink.
Tee advised Nigerians to offer support and speak up whenever they feel their mental health is threatened instead of dying in silence.
It’s Ok ‘not to be Ok sometimes my Brother’, and there’s no shame to it! I’ve been there! The Saddest part is that our society shy’s away from the truth and being human, we are covered up by a culture that is so far lost. We emulate the western world at our convenience but shy away from the reality of consciousness.”
Saying to Harry “You did the right thing, crying out at the right time, unlike myself! The western world that we emulate has lost so many lives due to ignorance.”
“Your mind is the greatest weapon to attack the delusional world that we live in bro! When you understand the dynamics of life, define your values and understand your purpose in life, the rest is a daily exercise. Gratitude is my recommendation.”
“ If we can all exercise empathy and love to one another,
the world will be a better place to contain all of us in peace. Don’t get carried away from reality and the social media world folks.”
If by any chance you feel depressed or suicidal, call for help or visit facebook pages like “insomnia” or “the artidote” that offer free mental health services. It’s ok not to be ok, and we hope that people like Harry Songs find help before it’s too late.
