The multinational automaker that was founded by Henry Ford incorporated on June 16, 1903, has been making waves in the automotive community. The Ford Motor Company sells both commercial vehicles and automobiles under the Ford brand. The company is “guilty” for producing most of the luxury cars although under the Lincoln brand. It also owns the Australian performance car manufacturer FPV and the Brazilian SUV manufacturer Troller.
Ford Motor Company primarily manufactures, distribute, and sell automobiles. It operates through the following sectors: Automotive, Ford Smart Mobility, Central Treasury Operations and of course Financial Services. The Automotive branch of the company includes the global sales of Ford and Lincoln brand vehicles, accessories and service parts. The company experienced a mind-blowing sales increase of more than 6.3 million new trucks and cars in 2013.
With over 200,000 employees, the Ford Motor made it on Forbes list as the 64th most regarded company in 2017 and is ranked 39th as the World’s Most Valuable Brands.
PSA Peugeot Citroen
