The smartphone market smiled on Xiaomi last year, the type of success they achieved in the midst of crashing market sales for other smartphone brands have moved them to believe they can reach out for more success this year.
The CEO of Xiaomi previously stated out the plan Xiaomi have for 2018 to help them scale up their success last year and topple other smartphone giants competing with them in China.
In the spirit of determination and sheer willingness, Xiaomi has added another product to the Xiaomi Redmi Note line of phones, the Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro.
The new addition will be the successor to last year’s Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.
On release, Redmi Note 4 had two variants a Snapdragon 625 processor variant and an MTK processor variant. The former and later both have their sub-variants which can be found available as 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant which costs Rs 9,999 and also 4GB RAM and 64GB variant which is up for sale for Rs 11,999. All the variants of the Redmi Note 4 were fitted with an un-removable battery which its capacity is 4100mAh battery.
The new Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro will build on the excellence and misfortunes of its predecessor. It will also appear in two variants which includes a 4GB RAM and 64GB variant which costs Rs 13,999 and for the second variant which is 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM option at Rs 16,999.
Camerawise, Redmi Note 5 pro features dual rear-camera shooters which are vertically placed The camera sensors are 12MP + 5MP; f/2.2 primary camera and 5MP f/2.0 depth sensor respectively. In the front, it also features a 20MP selfie shooter with LED flash.
Also, the new Redmi Note 5 pro will be coming with a facial unlock. Xiaomi has followed the trend as this phone is the first Xiaomi smartphone to feature facial-unlock.
The Redmi Note 5 Pro has an 18:9 full HD+ display with rounded corners. It also features 5.99-inch display as the Redmi Note 5, but former is powered by a new Snapdragon 636 processor with 4+4 Kryo 260 CPU clocked at 1.8GHz and Adreno 509 GPU.
On Redmi Note 5 pro, you get to choose between 4GB or 6GB RAM along with and 64GB of storage.
The phone has the same 4,000mAh battery as the Redmi Note 5, but it wasn’t built with the fast charging and no USB-C. It will ship with MIUI 9 running on top of Android Nougat. The Redmi Note 5 Pro will only be available in four colors: Black, Gold, Rose Gold, and Blue.
While Redmi notes five, on the other hand, Xiaomi Redmi has a 5.99-inch as I’ve mentioned above. It features an 18:9 display with 2160×1080 pixel resolution the display was formerly spiced up with rounded corners and curved 2.5D glass.
Instead of the Redmi Note 5 to feature a newer and trending processor, the phone announced with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset with a choice to choose between a variant with 3GB or 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB storage.
The phone will be run by MIUI 9, running Android 7.0 Nougat. Powering it will be the 4000mAh battery and also with no fast charging and over a micro USB connector.
Also, the Redmi Note 5 will be available in four colors: Black, Gold, Rose Gold, and Blue.
Xiaomi also launched a smart LED TV called “Mi TV 4” (55-inch) with 4K panel along with HDR10 together with Redmi Note 5 and Note five pro in India. The thinnest LED TV in the whole world. The 4.9mm slim television costs the Rs 39,999 and comes with an intelligent content-first “PatchWall” software, which redesigned for India.
Finally, Xiaomi has released three products this year, Redmi Note 5, Redmi Note Pro and Mi LED TV 4.
The first sale for Redmi Note five and 5 pros will be scheduled for February 22 on Flipkart and Mi.com, and the offline stores Xiaomi has been trying to expand is followed four steps.
