Yu Yunique is the latest from Yu India with $75 price tag
YU Televentures, the micromax and cyanogen partnered brand is most notable of producing ultra cheap devices, the latest from the India based mobile OEM is YU Yunique which is a 4G LTE device priced at just $75 or Rs 4,999 in India. The pricing gives it a new record, according to the company that is. YU claims, their latest YUnique device is the most affordable 4G HD device in the world.
On the specifications edge, YU Yunique features a 4.7-inch IPS LCD display, a 1GB RAM slammed in it and 8GB of ROM which can be upgraded/increased via micro-SD card. The device uses a Qualcomm snapdragon 410 chip-set to run, so don’t expect a hippy ride on this $75 device.
The photographic attributes includes a 2 Mega Pixel in front for your selfie needs, and an 8 Mega Pixel rear shooter as it’s main camera. The device boots stock Android 5.1 Lollipop though, but, there will be room to fit in Cyanogen OS 12.1 later, which of course is the reason most people go for YU devices after all. The Yunique is powered by a 2000mAh battery.
YU Yunique will be exclusively retailed online by Snapdeal with registrations already in progress, while sales will hold every Tuesday at 12 noon starting September 15.
