Infinix Mobility has decided to revamp the design of its devices, in a move to secure its domain in the Nigeria smartphone market (since more competitors like Xiaomi and Oppo are coming in already).
This is evident in the Infinix Hot S4 and their recent Infinix Smart 3 Plus designs. The HOT S4 has dew drop notch and triple camera with 32MP lens.
This device comes with speed, battery, nice camera specs and trendy designs, hence it should be for the youths too.
Design and Display
The first noticeable design feature in the Infinix Hot S4 is the trendy dewdrop notch that houses the front camera. The almost edge to edge display and the little chin accounts for a large screen.
Flipping the phone over to the back reveals a triple camera setup accompanied by a Quad LED flash and a fingerprint sensor.
For display, you get a 6.26 inch IPS LCD 720p HD+ resolution with 19:9 aspect ratio and over 84% screen to body ratio. The device is protected with a 2.5D glass.
Camera
The camera setup of the Infinix Hot S4 is where most of the improvements were made. The AI assisted triple camera lenses are 13MP wide lens, a 2MP depth sensor for portraits and another 8MP ultra-wide sensor for more width and depth. There is also the Quad LED flash for illuminating poorly lit environments.
Over to the front is a single 32 MP selfie camera for superb images and videos and also face unlock. It will interest you to know that this is the highest camera specification in an Infinix device.
Hardware Components ((Processor and Memory))
Infinix Hot S4 decided to got with the Helio P22 chipset this time and utilized the full cores. The octa-core device comes with 4 Cortex A53 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz and another Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.5 GHz. The GPU is PowerVR GE8100, clocked at 570 MHz.
For multitasking, you get 3GB or 4GB of RAM space which should load large apps and games easily and also a 32 GB or 64 GB storage space expandable to 128Gb via a Micro SD.
Battery and OS
by now it is a known fact that the Infinix Hot series sport a non-removable 4000 mAh battery. Infinix is kind enough to add fast charge technology to the Hot S4.
For OS, the device runs Android 9.0 Pie under the XOS 5 skin.
