Early Life
Jackie Chan was born as Chan Kong Sang on 7th April 1954 to his parents, Charles Chan and lee-lee Chan, who were living as refugees in Hong Kong. Born in Victoria’s peak district of Hong Kong, Jackie spent his infancy and childhood right there in his birthplace.
Growing up in Hong Kong, Jackie Chan schooled at Nah- Hwa primary school but was withdrawn from the school after he failed his First exam.
When Jackie was six years old, his father relocated to Australia to work in the American embassy, assuming the role of head cook in the embassy. At the same time, Jackie got enrolled in a china drama academy operated by master Yu Jim-yuen.
Jackie was trained thoroughly for about ten years while doing excellent well in acrobatics, martial art, and singing, mime, and with these acquired skills, he ventured into the world of filming.

Although he was very young, Jackie started his acting career when he was just five years old, in 1959.
