Vivo is busy this month trying to set the pace for other smartphones to follow, and this is evident in the Vivo V17 smartphone. Set to launch on September 20, this smartphone is everything Vivo stands for; cool designs and innovations.
The Vivo V17 stands at 6.59 inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display and a 2440×1080 resolutions. The AMOLED display allows for on-screen fingerprint, something Vivo has perfected since the NEX A? series.
Vivo is tight-lipped about the Screen-to-body ratio, but considering the phone’s design, it should be up to 90% if not more.
What actually makes this device stand out is the number of cameras it has. There are 6 cameras on the V17; four at the back arranged vertically and two for selfie. The rear lenses are 48MP main sensor + 8MP + 2 MP + 2 MP.
The talking point is the front camera though, as the V17 is the first device to be equipped with the pop-up dual camera. The pop-up mechanism will include a 32MP primary sensor and an extra 2MP sensor.
The device is powered by Qualcomm SDM675 Snapdragon 675 the same processor used by its predecessor the V15. There is 8GB of RAM space and 128GB of onboard storage.
The Vivo V17 7is expected to be bundled with 4100mAh battery and Funtouch OS 9 based on Android 9 Pie.
