Youssef has a habit of keeping a low profile, Youssef is also known to be behind the scene for building Egypt’s largest supermarket chain, Metro, which has developed to a network of approximately 40 branches.

From 1976 to 1981, Youssef worked as the CEO of the Loutfy Mansour Trading Company, the Chevrolet dealer in Egypt and part of General Motors. After a while, Youssef was announced as chairman and CEO of Mantrac until 1992.

After that was chosen as the chairman of Mansour Holding Company for Financial Investments and he is still holding this position.

Youssef Mansour was appointed as the chairman of Mansour Automotive Company in 2006, where he served until the end of 2009. Finally, Youssef is one of the back bones in the foundation of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt.

His family is a well known and respected family, which some people which to born into or married into. Youssef apart from being a billionaire, he also does what other billionaires do; charity.

He has donated LE 51.5 million ($3.26 million) to support the state’s efforts to combat coronavirus, this was according to a letter he sent to the prime minister of Egypt.
