Justin Randall Timberlake, commonly referred to as “president of pop,” or simply called JT, is an American singer, songwriter, actor, and record producer.
He started his career at a very young age, staring on the show “The All-New Mickey Mouse Club” alongside the famous Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, and was also featured in the “Star Search” show.
Timberlake became a member of the pop group NSYNC boyband, which became immensely popular in the 1990s and was an avenue for Timberlake’s fame.
He later went solo in 2002 and began a successful solo music and acting career, releasing several albums and starring in movies such as Alpha Dog in 2006, The Social Network in 2010, and In Time in 2011.

Justin Randall Timberlake was born on the 31st day of January 1981, in Memphis, Tennessee to parents Randall “Randy” Timberlake, who was a Baptist choir director, his mother is Lynn Bomer Harless.
Justin was raised in a small community called Shelby Forest and spent his childhood days with his father. His parents divorced in 1985 and eventually got remarried to other people, but both extended families remain close.
Justin spent his childhood with his father and had two stepbrothers from his father’s second marriage. He also had a step-sister who died shortly after birth in 1997. Justin pays tribute to her in his song with the NSYNC band titled “My Angel in Heaven.”
Being the son of a Lead chorister, Justin grew up singing in the Baptist church choir. He was fortunate to grow up around talented musicians in his family who helped to nurture his talent from a very young age.
Justin had an uncle who played in a bluegrass band, and His grandfather was a guitarist, His grandfather, who taught him how to play the guitar, and also exposed him to artists such as Elvis Presley, Willie Nelson, and Johnny Cash.

Justin’s career kicked off at a very young age; he was already a gospel and country musician at the age of eleven. He featured on the television show “Star Search” at the same age, where he sang under the name “Justin Randall.”
In 1993, he became a cast member in The Mickey Mouse Club and performed from 1993 to 1995, alongside pop stars Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and JC Chasez.
After that, Justin and JC Chasez formed the boy band NSYNC in 1995, along with Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick. The male singing group was organized and managed by Lou Pearlman.
The band began their career in Europe in 1996, with Justin and Chasez as the two lead singers. They became famous in the United States after the release of their self-titled debut studio album, which was released in 1998. The album, which sold 11 million copies, featured several hit songs, including “Tearing Up my heart.”
As their fame continued to grow, the band began to have issues with their manager Lou Pearlman, which they engaged in a legal battle with and eventually ended their contract with him.

In 2018, the Hollywood Walk of Fame honored the band with a star.
Solo career
As new acts continue to sprout in the music industry, the general popularity of boy bands began to decline over time. When NSYNC went on a halt in 2002, Justin partnered with Pharrell Williams to work on music.
In August 2002, Justin released his debut solo single, “Like I Love You,” which quickly positioned at number 11 spot on Billboard. He went further to release his debut solo album “Justified” in November that same year.
The album went up to place two on Billboard 200 and sold over 7 million copies worldwide. Justified features hit singles such as “Rock Your Body” and “Cry me a River,” they became spotted among the greatest songs of all time and earned Justin 2 Grammy awards in 2004 for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album.
By the summer of 2003, Justin was on the Justified/Stripped tour with former castmate at “Mickey Mouse Club” Christina Aguilera as headliners.

Justin started his acting pursuit since the early 2000s when he starred in the 2000 Disney Channel movie “Model Behavior.”

After a very shaky relationship that lasted several years, they got married in October 2012, in Puglia, Italy. In April 2015, the couple welcomed a baby boy, Silas Randall Timberlake.
Endorsements
Justin has benefited greatly from may endorsement deals because of his popularity and fame, such as his $6 million deal with McDonald’s in 2003 for the fast-food chain’s I’ mm Lovin’ It” campaign.
Other endorsements include Givenchy’s men’s fragrance “Play” (2009), Sony products (2009), and Walmart (2012).
Investments
He has also made a fortune out of different business ventures in recent years, earning between $50 and $60 million from his various business ventures, such as the 2005 and 2007 deal with William Rast clothing line.
He partnered with Sauza Liquors in 2014 to launch his own version of the beverage, “Sauza 901”. Justin invested in the beverage company Bai Brands in 2015 and became the Chief flavor officer of the company that same year.

In 2010, Justin and his wife Jessica purchased a 2,600 square-foot penthouse in NYC’s Soho neighborhood; the penthouse amounts to about $6.6 million.
